Gracchus is a 3-piece progressive metal band made up of Bernhard Schnellmann (vocals and rhythm guitar), Allan Murphy (drums), and Jeff Elrose (lead guitar). Having the most interesting and unique long distance relationship being based in the US and Switzerland, the band is meticulously disciplined to the craft of musicianship while maintaining their human touch, combining the dark with the vulnerable, the serious with the playful, and the heavy with the emotional. After releasing their debut album 'Murder Party' in 2019, Gracchus was thrust into the limelight with international touring, covered by renowned rock magazine Metal Hammer, and honorably chosen as the German Rock Hard’s “Recommendation of the Month.” Since 'Murder Party,' the band has been featured on multiple Apple Music, Spotify and Deezer hard rock and metal playlists and has been repeatedly picked up by international press such as Metal Sucks, Headliner and Prog Magazine. All of Gracchus' songs were written and recorded by the three band members in complete DIY, engineered by Andri Urfer, who has worked with the band since their start.
